Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on gongango.com. By making a purchase, you agree to this policy.
1. The Basic Rule
Our content is digital and delivered immediately upon purchase. Because of this, we generally do not offer refunds once content has been accessed.
However, we want to be fair. The conditions below describe when a refund IS available.
2. When You CAN Get a Refund
We will issue a full refund if:
- You request the refund within 7 days of purchase, AND
- You have not accessed the purchased content (or accessed it only briefly, for less than 2 minutes total), AND
- You contact us with your refund request via email at support@gongango.com
To request a refund, email support@gongango.com with:
- Your account email address
- Order ID or payment reference
- Reason for the refund
Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
3. When You CANNOT Get a Refund
We do not offer refunds in the following cases:
- The 7-day window has passed
- The content has been accessed substantively
- You purchased a subscription and used it for any period (cancellation is available, but no refund for the current billing period)
- The refund request is based on dissatisfaction with the content quality, opinions, or coverage — please review the free content (Sri Lanka) before purchasing other countries to verify our style matches your expectations
- The request is for changes in your travel plans (cancelled trip, route change, etc.)
- The request appears to be part of a pattern of abuse (e.g., repeated purchase-and-refund behavior)
4. Subscription Cancellations
If you have an auto-renewing subscription, you may cancel at any time from your account settings.
- Cancellation stops future renewals immediately.
- You keep access until the end of your current paid period.
- No partial or pro-rata refunds are issued for the current period.
5. Failed Payments and Duplicate Charges
If you were charged but did not receive access, OR you see a duplicate charge, please contact us immediately at support@gongango.com. We will investigate and refund any incorrect charges within 5–7 business days.
6. Exceptional Circumstances
In rare cases (e.g., serious illness, technical errors on our side, accidental purchase by a minor), we may make exceptions to this policy at our discretion. Contact us at support@gongango.com and explain your situation; we will respond within 3 business days.
7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, your account may be suspended pending investigation. We strongly encourage you to contact us at support@gongango.com first — most issues can be resolved faster and more easily by email.
