Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of gongango.com (the “Service”), operated by Gongango Private Limited (“Gongango”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use gongango.com. By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

2. Accounts

To access certain features (including purchased content), you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and current information
Keep your password confidential
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Accept responsibility for all activity on your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Content and Intellectual Property

All content on gongango.com — including text, images, design, code, layout, and travel guides — is the property of Gongango Private Limited or its licensors. This content is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the content for your own personal travel planning. You may NOT:

Copy, reproduce, redistribute, or republish any content
Share your account credentials with others
Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any content
Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to collect content
Use the content to train machine learning models
Remove or alter any copyright notices

Violations may result in account termination without refund and possible legal action.

4. Purchases and Payments

What you can purchase

We offer paid access to certain country guides and related content (“Paid Content”). Pricing is shown clearly before purchase.

How payments work

All payments are processed by Razorpay. By making a purchase, you agree to Razorpay's terms. Payments are charged in Indian Rupees (INR) for Indian customers and in US Dollars (USD) or local equivalent for international customers, as displayed at checkout.

Access duration

Content purchased is accessible for the duration specified at the time of purchase.

Auto-renewing subscriptions (if applicable)

If you purchase a subscription, it will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued.

Price changes

We may change prices at any time. Changes will not affect purchases already made. We will notify subscribers of price changes at least 30 days in advance.

5. Refund Policy

A separate Refund Policy governs refunds for purchases made on gongango.com. By making a purchase, you agree to that Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Travel Information Disclaimer

The information on gongango.com is provided for general informational and travel planning purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we do NOT guarantee that:

All information is current, complete, or accurate at the time you read it
Recommended places, businesses, or services are still operating
Prices, visa rules, or travel conditions match what we describe

Travel involves risk. You are solely responsible for verifying critical information (visa requirements, safety conditions, vaccinations, current opening hours and prices) with official sources and licensed travel professionals before your trip.

Gongango is not a travel agency, tour operator, or financial advisor. We do not book flights, accommodations, or tours, and we are not responsible for your interactions with any third party mentioned on our site.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation
Infringe on others' intellectual property rights
Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malicious content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our team
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

8. Third-Party Links

gongango.com may contain links to third-party websites, apps, or services. We do not control these and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Use them at your own risk.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep gongango.com available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss caused by service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:

gongango.com is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind
Gongango is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose

This does not exclude liability for fraud or other liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gongango Private Limited, its directors, employees, and partners from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may close your account at any time by emailing support@gongango.com. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Coimbatore, India.

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute by writing to support@gongango.com. Many disputes can be resolved this way without legal action.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on the website at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
